The Mâconnais is southern Burgundy: luminous Chardonnays, villages of honey-coloured stone, and a slower pace than the famous Côte to the north. We know the estates that welcome you properly, the cellars that open without a show, and the tables where lunch is allowed to take its time.
Your day is composed for you: two or three estates reserved in advance, lunch in a place chosen for its setting and its cooking, pauses wherever the view deserves one, and the road explained between each stop. Terroir, appellations, winemaking, without the jargon.
